Probably-- like a child that has their candy taken away, they wanted to lash out so the did.

The absolute worst thing is to give back the candy as a result of the tantrum

No a child cries to get something. When they get it they stop crying. As you've pointed out they recieved donations to get another place, yet they still chose to fight. So it's not like a child you get's their candy taken away. This is about fighting because you understand society trying to control you and wanting to be free. Society will keep trying to control you but if you fight you can at least feel free. Even being in jail they feel freer then just following in line like those they despise.

Yeah, nice. They wanted to be free of society, but they also demanded that the society should pay their bills

They have every right to be free and do exactly what they want, but why is it reasonable that socitey shoud pay for it, especially if they don't want to be part of said society ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

                • I read through 150 posts of this two part thread. Would I find anything different in the 1000+ posts that followed those?

Yup. They lived in the society controlled realm. If they didn't want that they should find a place where society wouldn't bugger them.

Actually its exactly alike -- If a child cries for their candy or toy and you hand them 10 dollars, they still cry. They want what they want and only what they want and nothing else will satisfy them

No problem, but they shouldn't be schocked if society fights back.

Act like a baby, cry like a baby ... If they want something then they should work for it - not expect to get it delivered for free.
