Um... the whole point is with those stances, getting by the primary is going to be incredibly, incredibly difficult.

That link suggests that the activists can't make up their minds.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Again, you insist on sweeping generalization.
When will you learn, Imran? That stance is key to understanding, you're not all that and more, like you think. In fact, it's stupid. Don't keep doing it.
I disagree. Imran is all that and more.

Also, I think he should keep doing it.

What kind of a leader Giuliani is though?

I mean, people like these men.. these men who come to your aid and protect you from bad people who have overtaken your areas. A hopeless situation, turned into cynical life, but then someone with balls comes and just flushes this garbage into the toilet.

So like Giuliani fighting the mob, that's always a great accomplishment. That's dangerous. That takes some cojones.

Or Bush senior in the early 80s in Miami, well not so personally as Giuliani, but still came to 'rescue' the area, while the Columbians, Cubans and locals where having a war.

A situation where if you step in and scream STOP, it means you will die. So it takes a strong person to take things under control, demolish the garbage, and as an aftermath we can see that they really did serious damage to them, not just talk and arresting one person. So you get a lot of deserved respect, because you saved the people, and a lot of people had a chance to do that earlier but no one stepped up or could accomplish that.

SO, this will give Giuliani great support, however, that doesn't say a lot what kind of a LEADER he can be. He seems to me as a person who is not aware of the finer nuances of diplomacy. Am I right?

Pekka, Giuliani was thrust into that position and is, to this day, living on a reputation gained primarily by the accident of being in office when the tragedy happened. He did some good things in NY for sure, but I would characterize him as more opportunist than leader.

                      I don't know WHERE you're getting the Miami-Bush stuff.

Didn't Guiliani have cancer? Wasn't that why he bowed out of Gracie Mansion?

One of the hosts on Air America* made the following assertions against Giuliani.

                          1) Giuliani tried to have the election in which he was up for re-election cancelled on the grounds that N.Y. wasn't yet ready to hold an elections after the 9/11 attack.

                          2) Giluliani's second wife found out he was divorcing her when he made the announcement at a press conference as he was moving his latest girlfriend into Gracie Manor.

                          3) Numerous people who have worked with him when he was mayor stated he refuses to compromise on anything.

McCain came down here last month to kiss Jerry Falwell's ring. I believe he's likely to get the support of Falwell and Robertson.
