Guy gets his wish. Lost goes back to the beach and we get a lame episode out of it...

Ending was good, though; Rousseau joining Team 815 should be fun. And next week's episode looks awesome...

    As for Trisha Tanaka...

Yes, but according to every television show I've seen, they are all *****es.

                Um... rotting flesh and bones?

Much better than last week. But I'm not sure I understood the whole "how the sunlight reflected off Mr. Eko's stick when Locke buried him" them. I mean, WTF?

Yeah, I didn't quite get that one either. I slightly remember the reflection but had no clue to it's meaning.

I did love the chicken place going up and it was kind of a fun episode. Sawyer teaching english was entertaining.

Yeah, it doesn't have to be life-or-death doom-and-gloom all the time. Nice to have a breather now and again.

AND WE DIDN"T SEE JACK THEN ENTIRE EPISODE.

I'm not a jack hater but it was a nice change of pace.

When Locke awoke in the jungle, Eko's stick fell on him, and he saw a passage like "Lift up your eyes and look north" and the word "John". And there was some reflection when burying Eko - Locke believes those are signs, which will probably end up leading him to the second island.

I liked actually seeing the old characters again and having a break from Jack. One point, though, how long can beer realistically stay outside without turning to poison? That corpse was certainly there for a long time, intuition tells me any beer would've turned to something poisonous or, at the very least, not enjoyable in that time.

Sawyer did say it was flat and stale. but beer is beer. The biggest horror was that it was generic and warm.

It wasn't generic, it was probably Dharma's own brand .

The you would probably have liked how the show was originally planned to be. IIRC Dennis Quaid was supposed to have played Jack, but they changed the script to let Jack live for more than one episode. Because of this Dennis Quaid decided to not be in the show anyway, as he was too busy with other movies

I don't hate Jack, but I agree that he has been the leading character for way too long now
