After reading the thread:

Ironically, it was while I studied political science at Uni that my writing skills became horrendous: way too much detail. Always the same things again and again to make sure the reader knew exactly what I was talking about every f*cking time I talked about it.

The artsy intellectual garbage they teach in France is way superior when it comes to writing skills. At least you learn to get the point across.

I still don't think you're getting it. Making fun of engineering for being a service sector industry is stupid because every intellectual profession is part of the service sector.

I am not making fun of them for being a service industry, I am in a service industry (or whatever)! This thread is not about me trolling engineers, it is about engineers/science types trolling my lot.

All I did was point out the writing incompetence of technical majors I know through my experience, and pointed out that they are not holier than though because of their technical degrees that may or may not make them more money.

And I did troll a little, but hell look at the thread title!

Besides, one of the most grammar nazi places there are, are them programming forums and/or discussions. Usually the people get upset if you don't start your sentences with capital letters etc... there are all kinds of rules how to write your stuff down, even when asking for help. They HATE bad grammar and bad writing.

Anyone who gets their rocks off by being spelling/from nazis on the internet rank as the biggest tools/douchebags I know.
