My brother has one boy and I (well, my wife and I) have a boy and a girl. My brother and I talk about the differences in rasing two vs. one all the time.

His son already has a hard time playing with other kids since he doesn't understand some things are not his.

His son is forever asking to come over and play because, normally, he has no young children to play with. He can't play like a child wants to because daddy doesn't have that child-like mentality anymore.

He's said he doeesn't want any more but he won't get the boys clipped. I told him, I did it and it was almost inconsequential. It doesn't hurt, there's no side effects... nothing.

Ah well, maybe he'll have the second one one of these days.

Highly successful males propagate with a lot of moderately successful women and then leave them. They propagate with their own long term relationships (wives/mistresses) enough so that they have money to give advantage as well as having lots of kids.
