In Hong Kong, the water is in theory drinkable, but I interviewed an engineer who designed a water filtration plant here. He said the water was perfect out of the plant, but once it travels through all of the pipes and into a water tank on top of an apartment building...
So he boils his water first.
I do the same and run it through a Brita. Also buy bottled water sometimes when I'm out and about. It costs about US$1 per 1.5 liters.
Best tap water I've had was when I lived at Lake Louise, Alta. Glacier water
Oh and Toronto water, best in the world. (wouldn't want to disappoint my fans)Golfing since 67

What an awesome country!
We did the ring road of Iceland a couple of years ago and tried to get to Dettifoss but it was closed because it was April...
I'm hoping to come back one Summer some time.

Here in Virginia, my water is sometimes brown. I use a water filter to be safe. Never had that problem in Houston."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

Það getur verið að þú sért að vera sniðugur eins og viss herramaður sem ég nafngreini ekki. Eða að þú sért Færeyingur eða Nojari.

As far as I know most of the water here in the UK is chlorinated. When I lived in manchester I could definately taste it, so much that I completely stopped drinking tap water. Here in Derby it tastes fine though, which is strange as I would've thought we'd both source our water from the Peak District. Yes and yes.
