For an attorney you sure like living on the edge. I would never make a joke like that to one of my students. I have no urge to defend myself against sexual harassment charges.

The big publishers don't want reasonable-sized texts. They can't justify charging 168$ (no word of a ****ing lie) for a 50 page text. That's why you see constant textbook expansion. And profs don't want to teach out of a text not pushed by the big publishers because of standardisation of course content.

His point was -- that's why he couldn't get such a book published. The publisher wants Big Bucks and so will only publish large books, even if they're long and rambling.

Dear Student,

you´re the dumbest person I met in my life and therefore it is a great pleasure for me to announce, that you failed your test for the third time and therefore aren´t allowed to study theoretical physics anymore.
I hope you take this as a lesson that things that require some brain capacity, like studying natural sciences, aren´t things your brain is really suited for and hope that you will act accordingly and start a new career as farm aid or brick layer, as jobs that don´t require too much thinking seem to be the only one where you might be successful to a certain degree.
This said I hope to never ever see your face in or near a university again.
