If you had testosterone you may understand why revenge can be closure.

Ask the families of the victims of Clifford Olsen whenever he comes up for parole.

It's never over til the animal is dead.

Then the only good that the mass murderer might be able to do is give a final sense of closure to the victims left behind (the families) by his or her own death.
Robert Pickton is a human being, and has inherent moral value.

There is no reason to keep such an animal alive, and there may well be reasons to put it to death.
I disagree with your characterisation of the defendant

On the contrary, he is not a human being. He is:

          1) A murderer
          2) A pigfarmer
          3) An ugly ****

#3 is enough for a death sentence already, but if you add in #1 and #2 I'd have to ask why he hasn't been killed already. If we did he'd not have murdered those poor, innocent slutty girls.

I don't assign any moral value to a person like him.

I guess that is the essence of our disagreement.

I do believe that some humans are better off dead. They are very few and usually far between, but they exist.

I have testosterone. I keep it in a jar.

Justice isn't about criminals. It's about us. We degrade ourselves when we kill, even if it's for revenge.

Your position is, to me, repugnant.

Same goes for Asher and Kuci, who have said essentially the same thing.

Why don't we ship all murderers to Quebec then, if you guys like them so much.

They would fit right in with your average rampaging Quebecois student.

Yours sort of is to me as well.

Especially when you are in favour of Saddam buying the farm.

If you're going to mount some moral high horse, you should do your best to stay on top of it.

He was actually consistent on that issue. Saddam had to die because he was a continuing security threat.

I don't find KH's view repugnant at all. I don't agree with it, and find nothing wrong with killing such people, but I'm not particularly offended by not killing them either.
