Chavez once again porves he's a tin pot dictator in the making.
I don't know why I'm talking to you. I never said I believed in burning books. That's ridiculous.
You may not support it, but it is the realities of the system you support, which of several pages you can't seem to grasp.
I know capitalism screws over some of the poor no matter what safety net is created, just the way it is. There is no perfect system. It is however obviously the best one out there.
"The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.

Wrong, capitalism is perfect. It's the perfect system for those who own property.
And I don't know why I should accept at face value that communism has to be oppressive. No one here has done anything else but made bald face assertions. To tell the truth, that's just really lame if thats the best you've got.

Well no, I'm sure your experience is quite different from mine, and someone in Venezuela probably has quite a different experience still. That's why I said originally that there's no way you will easily change your mind. You cant even understand what the hell I'm saying.

Actually no its not. While I can support capitalism ( with a proper regime of regulation and a social safety net) I would never ever say it is perfect. If you think that any but a tiny minority find it perfect then you are seriously deluded

I wasn't talking people who own their own things. I was talking about a class of people.

See that's what I'm talking about. You act like you don't understand or you really don't.
I have heard everything you have said through several threads and understood every single word. But the assumptions you seem to make and the conclusions you draw are so out there to me that no, I confess I do not understand.
For instance you accept state things about the exploitation of labour that just make no sense to me.
If a plumber goes and does some work and gets paid $500 it seems like:
1: that is totally fair if he is working for himself
2: that it is totally unfair/ exploitive if the customer actually paid $550 or 600 or750 to the plumbing company and some of it went for profit .
In each case the worker got the same money, eyt in one case he was exploited.
I even recall that it could be acceptable for the state to pay 10/hour for a given job but the capitalist paying $25 for identical work would be exploiting the workers id they took any profit or rent or interest

Ahh so if I fight you with words and protests and strikes and letters and marches but never bring a gun . . .. you will leave me alone???
Will you continue to leave me alone if my statements become popular to the point where the stability of rule of your utopia appears to be in jeopardy??

That's not what I'm talking about. You asked how the workers would get paid more, and I said they aren't being exploited anymore. Then you said that that's not an answer. It's THE answer. That's what we believe. Why do you say it's not an answer.

That's not realistic. I think the worker gets paid less in a capitalist system and he also has to pay more for the things he buys.
