I find intellectually stimulating things fun, which is outside your definition.

Go out to clubs and dance with women.

Watch cartoons (not the lame ones that pretend to have plots, etc., but like Road Runner, Tom & Jerry, and the awesome British ones like Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, and Victor & Hugo). Remember to switch your mind off, first.

      Listen to good music, loud.

Get drunk and do stupid things (but only with friends).

Don't be daft! Get some of them lazzies off your doctor, tell him you had a relapse. Then stockpile, tell him your suicidal till you get more.

        Pop the lot.

My definition was not intended to be all-inclusive. I also listed gaming, which can cover everything from Chess & Civ, to philosophical sparring.

It's also fun to read Douglas Adams books.

Oh, I agree. It has been a year or two since I read them, I should probably give them another go.

Get a blank piece of paper. Write "See other side" on one side of it. Turn it over and write "See other side" on the other side as well.

Hand it to a friend, and see how long it takes them to figure it out.

perhaps this wasn't the best place to ask how to have fun.

I would estimate one turn of the piece of paper, before they screw it up and throw it back in your face

Let me clarify, I do like having fun, but my idea of fun has changed since I was a kid. My idea of having fun does not consist of drinking myself to horrible illness. I enjoy a bit of socialising in the right context...

Amazing, isn't it, but I find it a sad existence when peoples' only purpose in life seems to be just to get drunk...
