  • Yes, this isn't the first time it's happened and I'm sure it won't be the last. Best to suspend reality checks on a few of the them. Normally I would be against it, but after all these seasons of entertainment, I'm willing to cut them a little slack in this area.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

          • Which part? The fact we might be facing the horror of a male version of Kim? Or the fact that Jack is related to the big bad guy from last season?

              • On another note, I'd like to know what wireless carrier Karen Hayes has. It must be pretty good if she can get a good signal in the middle of the Presidential Bunker...

                    Both.

I wonder if they initially planned to make Jack beat up his brother, but didn't know who the brother was going to be, and decided that we'd take it better if we already had reason to hate the brother.

And, Christ on a crutch, doesn't that kid have the same dead-eyed look of idiocy as Kim? Please, God, no!

                    • Somebody catch me up on how Jack knew his bro is scum, please. I knew him only as the leader of the shadowy cult-in-suits gang.
I missed the first few seasons...

And what a shame they couldn't get Donald Sutherland to play his dad...

                      • Graham was only introduced last year. No mention has ever been made of Jack's family, other than dearly-departed Teri and the unholy Kim. No hint of Graham's identity was made last year.

There's no reason for to Jack to think Graham was behind last season's plot, so his enmity towards Graham must be based on some prior knowledge. Even apart from his puppeteering of Logan last year, he certainly wasn't a sympathetic figure last night: weaselly, snide, boisterous. That may or may not be a front.

As preposterous as this all is, I'm interested in seeing the results when Jack learns of Graham's involvement with Logan.

                          Great dialogue though...
Jack: "Tell me or I'm going to hurt you."
                          Graham: "You're hurting me now."
Jack: "No. Trust me, I'm not."

                              • And bless their hearts for that! Christ, that post Super Bowl episode (which, in retrospect, ruined the show), where she busts in in that lingerie... that shall always live in my memory.

For the record, on the 24 website, the character is spelled Graham in summaries of last season, but Graem in last night's summary. For what's that worth.

Please, God, don't let male-Kim end up being Jack's real son!
