Return of the 24 Power Rankings:
1. Jack Bauer: even damaged, there's no stopping Jack.
2. Hamri Al-Assad: hard to accept this actor as a badass after years of Dr. Bashir on DS9, but he's pulling it off thus far.
3. Abu Fayed: very, very, very bad man. Possibly the first Main Bad Guy introduced at the start of the season.
4. Bill Buchanan: same old, reliable, grumpy Bill.
5. Nadia Yassir: sorry Chloe, but the position of CTU Hottie has been filled. Only one of several positions I'd like to see her in.
6. Chief of Staff Tom Lennox: the designated White House heel, but he's not at all unreasonable nor is he absolutely wrong.
7. President Wayne Palmer: I was sceptical at first, and there is room to improve, but he's not doing all bad.
8. Walid Al-Rezani: too early to make much of him, but certainly seems like an upstanding guy, if a bit of a stiff.
9. National Security Adviser Karen Hayes: she really ought to know to trust Jack, and should be more assertive.
10. Chloe O'Brian: why so low? Hard to respect someone who is involved with such an unmitigated jackass as Morris.
11. Milo Pressman: skeevy, very skeevy. Honestly, if we're gonna bring back people from early on, this is the best we can do?
12. Morris O'Brian: Christ on a bicycle, this guy is annoying.
13. Sandra Palmer: but not as annoying as she is. I mean, I agree with her politics, but can we not cry to our President brother when this other **** is going down, maybe?
No longer ranked: Curtis Manning. Godammit.
Awaiting rankings after rumored or potential returns and appearances: Charles Logan, Martha Logan, Aaron Pierce, Mike Novick, Audrey Raines, James Heller, Jack's dad, Jack's sister.
Likely to be ranked next week: Graham (Bluetooth dude from last year).
Hope to God no need to rank, as they shouldn't be around any more: the traditional annoying suburban family of the current season.
Please, God, no: Kim Bauer.
