Return of the 24 Power Rankings:

    1. Jack Bauer: even damaged, there's no stopping Jack.
    2. Hamri Al-Assad: hard to accept this actor as a badass after years of Dr. Bashir on DS9, but he's pulling it off thus far.
    3. Abu Fayed: very, very, very bad man. Possibly the first Main Bad Guy introduced at the start of the season.
    4. Bill Buchanan: same old, reliable, grumpy Bill.
    5. Nadia Yassir: sorry Chloe, but the position of CTU Hottie has been filled. Only one of several positions I'd like to see her in.
    6. Chief of Staff Tom Lennox: the designated White House heel, but he's not at all unreasonable nor is he absolutely wrong.
    7. President Wayne Palmer: I was sceptical at first, and there is room to improve, but he's not doing all bad.
    8. Walid Al-Rezani: too early to make much of him, but certainly seems like an upstanding guy, if a bit of a stiff.
    9. National Security Adviser Karen Hayes: she really ought to know to trust Jack, and should be more assertive.
    10. Chloe O'Brian: why so low? Hard to respect someone who is involved with such an unmitigated jackass as Morris.
    11. Milo Pressman: skeevy, very skeevy. Honestly, if we're gonna bring back people from early on, this is the best we can do?
    12. Morris O'Brian: Christ on a bicycle, this guy is annoying.
    13. Sandra Palmer: but not as annoying as she is. I mean, I agree with her politics, but can we not cry to our President brother when this other **** is going down, maybe?

No longer ranked: Curtis Manning. Godammit.

Awaiting rankings after rumored or potential returns and appearances: Charles Logan, Martha Logan, Aaron Pierce, Mike Novick, Audrey Raines, James Heller, Jack's dad, Jack's sister.

Likely to be ranked next week: Graham (Bluetooth dude from last year).

Hope to God no need to rank, as they shouldn't be around any more: the traditional annoying suburban family of the current season.

    Please, God, no: Kim Bauer.

Poor Jack. Has to kill the closest thing he has to a friend, and then Valencia gets nuked anyway... this may be the biggest turd sandwich of a day he's had yet. I mean, what could make it worse? Kim coming back?

Bigger than having his wife killed?

To be fair, Teri was a bit of a pill. I wouldn't think too highly of any woman whose womb produced Kim.

On a more serious note, he had to kill Curtis for trying to do something very similar to things Jack has done many times in the past. In a way, Jack was killing himself.

            Teri was a massive douche.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Jack is a hell of a shot, considering he spent two years in prison without (presumably) firing a gun.

I watched this last night. I had a hard time determining whether it was a comedy or something else. It was terrible.

I am sorry to say but you where wrong about this one, I knew that if Curtis died on the show it would not be in a blaze of Glory, but I did not expect him to die at the hands of Jack. Wow. Then nuke goes off anyways, anther wow.

Yes, it was a wow type of ending.
Who's gonna be Jack's wingman now. That position can't stay open that long. (and I won't count the ex-terrorist)

And thanks Guynemer, your ranking always entertain men even if I don't agree 100%.

I have to believe Teri was sleeping with someone else.

Yeah, I'd have to believe it was Chuck Norris. She wouldn't have had to actually sleep with him. He could have been having sex with a woman 1,000 miles away and the force was so great that the sperm made it all the way there and achieved penetration. Jack wasn't home much so there wasn't problably nothing there to block it.

One thing I would like to say about the family that got taken hositage, why did the dad do what the terrorist kid told him to do. That was really really stupid. Thanks to the dad the terrorist where able to denote that nuke. Why did he even trust the terrorist to do anything they say they would do. Their goal is to kill people and thats it. I would never do anything a terrorist tells me to do.

YEah, I know he was concerned for his family, and he didn't know it was to help trigger a nuke, but not a bright thing. If he was will to kill the dealer, he should have been willing to go back and try to rescue his family.
He had to know they all knew too much and wouldn't be released.
But as far as I'm concerned that was just another wasted time plot that hopefully is over.
