Seems to me that 24 doesn't tend to telegraph their plotlines as obviously as the coming assassination attempt. I don't expect we'll get rid of the president quite that easily, wimpy as he is.
My hope? That his sister will somehow get in the path of the bullet...

I liked the fact that Wayne's erstwhile backstabber (I forget his name) changed his mind. I'm a bit fed up of there being high-profile backstabbers in every 24 President's staff.Comment

She doesn't bother me so much. She fits into her role quite nicely. My problem with Wayne Palmer is that him becoming President is just totally inconceivable. Perhaps if he had some political experience other than being the Chief of Staff, I could understand it. But there is no way that with his background, he would become President. You know, it is now official as of this week--the 24 Power Rankings are obsolete, as 24 is no longer the best show in its time slot.
