Sympathy, OTOH, is what I feel for people who make jackasses of themselves by wrongly trying to correct other people's english.

there must be more to life than saving for retirement
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

I'm 44. At 43, I took up the tenor sax. That helped.

Im 47 and I ponder many thoughts men my age are faced with. Immature people aside, men wont talk about things often but feel alone.

I think so little of my fellow man who when married goes out and cheats on his spouse while hiding behind"Im trying to regain my youth" BS.

Men who in middle age sometimes start looking at things around them that were important but now dont seem so. Same with ideas and ideals, they change as well. Young blood often makes men think about job security.

Men in middle age deal with health issues from high blood pressure to sexual inabilities to other medical realities.

The cutbacks in the world economy hit many men who have been doing the same job so long. Not a lot of companies want to invest in a man who has 15-20 years left when it will take them more money to attract and for a lesser amount can hire a younger person to do same job and often with more energy and enthusiasm. Probably because younger men still believe they can change the world or reinvent the wheel. Us older men know we must often times do our jobs but simply keep the wheel running, lube it from time to time but just do our jobs. No metaphor there people.

Life is happening so fast and we probably start to see more clearer just how short life really is.

I seen a lot and been through a lot, now life is not so slow, its like a ball rolling down hill, picking up speed, kicking @zz and taking my name
