What an EVIL languageI will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

You're 43. It's over. Give up hope and wait for death."The French caused the war [Persian Gulf war, 1991]" - Ned

Bored? I felt like that at 43 - so I quit my job and moved to another country. Easy for me as I don't have offspring to pay for.
As you are stuck with paying for the inheritors of your genes the only answer I can give is that you need to do interesting things outside work (assuming you can't change your job for one that pays enough and is more challenging).Never give an AI an even break.

I hit 40 this year and one of the tough things to come to terms with is 'where did all the energy go?'. Many of the younger posters on here, for example, remind me of my own youth - full of ideas, enthusiasm, ideals, arrogance, self-belief, optimism, confidence and dynamism. When you're young you feel free to try things and take risks because there's so much time ahead to change course.
These days I feel that my realistic aspirations extend little further than survival - especially with the cost of living in my country escalating with the housing crisis, and always more taxes, more laws, less freedoms, and a social paradigm that seems to crush spirit rather than nurture it.
Sorry Horse - no tips, just empathy.
