Who said anything about "always"? I said "some", and didn't even fault the US for any specific action. You might find a dictionary enlightening sometime.

The US makes mistakes, and when we do so we should be held responsible as well. We supported Saddam in the past, and if we really were interested in justice, our own involvement in his actions should have seen their time in court as well. I do not know if any wrongdoing would have been found on the part of the US, that would of course be what a trial is meant to answer. I stated it would have made us look bad to have our support for Saddam being an issue made public at his trials, which could have occurred if some of Saddam's other doings had been tried. And also, as a related note, that I wish our own leaders would have to take responsibility for their own actions, which time and again they shirk with little to no consequences.

You tout "consequences" for others, yet can only respond with ad hominems and strawmen when confronted with even the possibility of your own country's involvement being questioned.

They could have used an assassin/poison him/pay someone to shoot him etc instead of invading the country, would have been easier and avoid many problems
