I think it is misguided to see this as sad.

Obviously lots of people from around the world feel "alone", because their natural environment is not necessarily the best for them to fit into.
That's why the internet and groups are such excellent ways to build connections based on mutual interest and similar personalities.

I think that the general message should be seen in an optimistic way.

I'm not sure if internet connections can cure the lonliness. I still need real human contact.

I think a lot of people (including myself) are just looking for something that isn't there. They need to be happy with the friends they got. There is no perfect friend that will connect with them and understand them and be ever loyal.

Not to say internet connections are bad. But they are no substitute for the real thing.

In short, they deserve it and I'm glad they are miserable, but not like happy, so that I'd be a jerk and evil, but more like glad knowing, that justice happens all the time in this chaotic world, and when you're an idiot, this is what happens to you. Of course I only watched the first 2 minutes of the video, so ... there might be cool people coming later on.
