Err, of course it will sell at launch. Especially with Zelda.

And the number of games is so great that I can't even think of one off the top of my head. That's a lot.

          No kidding?

Just as the 360 was a year ago.

I've sworn never to buy a single Sony product again after that DRM incident.

I hope Apple, Canon, and Microsoft to put Sony out of business for good.

                THat sounds kinda harsh

I don't see it as harsh.

Sony has little to no concern about public safety nor privacy. They sat on the knowledge that their batteries have exploded for a long time and are still taking their time in trying to fix it.

They are such a "proud"/arrogant company that they refuse to admit mistakes. This is why, for example, they don't publish patch notes for the PS3 updates -- doing so would acknowledge they had bugs/mistakes.

So Asher-- do you have a similar --" NEVER buy Sony" policy

I do. There's no reason to buy Sony.

Even their TVs are only good because they use Samsung's LCD panels...

Unfortunately one of my favorite bands is under the Sony label, so I've had to acquire their latest album through other means.

also if I wanted to buy a console--I haven't owned one for years but I wouldn't mind some shooter of jetfighter fun games-- which would you folks recommend?

I was half tempted to try to pick up a Wii in a few months. Its cheaper, seems fun and it sounds as if it might appeal to an admittedly lightweight gamer like myself-- any thoughts

Shooter of jetfighter, or shooter or jetfighter?

The Xbox / Xbox 360 is the console for shooters. Jetfighters aren't popular on any console.

I also agree with DaShi, with the understanding that I'm doing it only to irritate Asher.

Shooter or jetfighter type games, A good first person shooter is something I haven't played in years but I used to quite enjoy them. I also used to like the aircraft shooter ones

Perhaps xbox is the way to go-- It has the added advantage that I could actually buy one these days
