McCaskill's big remaining counties are Jasper and St. Louis County), but she doesn't seem to be racking up margins there to both nullify a bunch of smaller Talent counties that need to be counted, and make up a few percent. It'll be close, but I don't see her up by 2.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

In the last two midterm elections the president's party picked up seats. IN the last "6 year election" in 1998 the Dem's picked up seats.
The republicans had control of congress for 12 years straight. Before that the dems. controlled the house for at least 30 years before that.
Elections in which control of the house switches parties are NOT common.
on fox they were saying that 1994-2004 only 9 republicans lost their seat. they've been schooled, theres no doubt about it.
The exit polls in MO are slightly clearer (4% or so)
There must be multiple sets of exits released. Where are the newest ones?

Exit polls don't matter.
If they did, Kerry would be president right now.
