The Ducks used up all their scoring last night in Vancouver.

A good night for Canada as Ottawa, Edmonton and Calgary win.

I still don't like calgary's play-- They continue to give up too many shots and lay back too much. But Kipper was awesome. Also Amonte has emerged as a team leader . . . Its not only scoring . . . he levelled a Duck trying to come from behind the Flames net and was a key penalty-killer.

regher still is not at the level of last season. Hamrlik seems to be flourishing since they paired him back with Phaneuf and has been their best dman for the last two weeks

Didn't play ?? He took over at the start of the second and was in until pulled for an extra attacker late in the game.

Remember, your weekly GAA is cumulative, meaning they factor in minutes played. So it isn't as much of a help having a goaltender put up a great save percentage for only part of a game as you might think. Although if Giguere did play that much, it will certainly have some impact.

Oops, save percentage. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure if the same principle applies. That is, would the calculation be, for example (.885 + .920 + .905)/3 or would they add all saves and divide by all shots?

Hmmm.... a quick look at Yahoo suggests that it is indeed composite, so it's total saves/total shots for the entire week.

Due to a scheduling quirk, and Gomez's REALLY ANNOYING endless "DTD" status, I basically started with 3 open roster spots tonight and my current skaters all did jack **** -- WTF?

Meanwhile Tingkai's loaded on Leafs who just raped a pathetic Montreal team.

The stars are aligning against me this week.
