I would guess USC is #3 and Fla #4, assuming USC continues to administer a beatdown of Oregon.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. • Depends on what happens tonight. If it is close between USC and Oregon, Florida gets #3. If a blowout, then USC gets #3.

Rutgers is probably #6, because I think Arkansas goes to #5.

Or more likely Rutgers is #7, because Notre Dame goes to #5.

Yeah ... assuming USC hits one of the two hurdles in its path, my close second to a OSU-UMich rematch would be Arkansas, who's doing pretty well in a pretty tough conference... with their only loss to USC (which being such a blowout loss means I don't think they could overtake USC under any circumstances, other elements aside) and will have beat LSU (if they can), Auburn, Tennessee, U of SoCar (by more than FL did...) I think they have a good shot at the BCS game. But they have to beat LSU, and then the conference championship (FL I assume) ... The winner of a FL-Arkansas championship game certainly has a good shot, as does USC or Notre Dame (winner of their game) ...

The big question, to me, is - how much more likely is a UMich-OSU rematch now? Is it in the realm of 'very likely' yet? Is it in the realm of 'As long as USC loses'?

                      • Sigh ...

/me laments the demise of the "intentional grounding" call (not saying that was officially it, but ... it was, regardless of the 'rules' ... )

                          • I almost feel sorry for Snead ... he's not playing as badly as his WRs are by any means in this game (well, in this quarter). A lot of drops of good passes ...

                              • Nobody's going to give TX credit anymore anyway, win or lose ... not enough for BCS #2 anyway. Unless you're worried about Rutgers or something
