There are a whole lot new faces here since I was last around. There's no more or less screaming at each other. There are a lot more threadjacks, though, I think. Or at least I don't remember this many threadjacks. People were willing to discuss things deeply without throwing in random posts. I do miss a lot of regulars though....or I can't remember their DLs, maybe. Regardless, I can remember more than a few "Apolyton decline" threads, and obviously they were all wrong.

Winston and Ogie are proving the cause of decline pretty well with their posts. Petty half-assed personal attacks.

Bad threads deserve threadjacks, this one raises a valid concern. I think the solution is more bannings. It worked for Something Awful forums from what I've heard.

Umm as a matter of fact I most certainly did.

I was clear in my posts now wasn't I? I gave indications of raw count 13 out of 20 and then adjusted for walks (spams) 13 out of 17.

The data is clearly there inclusive of analysis.

No Way should OT posts be counted. This is a Civ site and if postcount is to mean anything here it should be in the context of gaming, not spamming.

Post count shouldn't mean anything. If we want it to mean anything, the administration could implement a negative postcount to OTF to lessen the amount of spam and no-content posts. Would make people think if they truly are communicating and sharing knowledge and information before hitting "Submit Reply".
