Nebraska could have easily had over a minute to drive the field, I blame the coach for stupidity.
He tried to ice the kicker when the clock was stopped with a timeout also.

One of those judgement calls. It could be said that the way to do it would be to let the clock keep going and hurry the FG effort, followed by a good rush at the kicker.
