Well, my "ideal" Top 10 rankings, wherein no team is ranked above a team that had beaten them, are out of the window. Near as I can tell, I can fit 9 teams at best into such a scenario, and that would include Boise State and the assumption that Texas comes back to win.

I'm gonna have to puzzle over this for a bit.

Tennessee is looking very average at the moment, missing big pass completions, fumbling and letting South Carolina have all the big plays they need to stay in this one.

when the people who vote in the ap and coaches poll consider their rankings how much weight is given to future expectations vs. current record and results?

given that i ranked usc #3 because i took into consideration their strong ranking among others is that another factor?

i just want to see dans eat crow...unless he can say that a legit #3 can almost lose to unranked opponents and then actually lose to an unranked opponent.

i dont know but i feel like im owed something for naysaying USC when he thought they should be close to #1

whatever, im a jackass but he was wrong about usc. he can be wrong about anything now. especially college football. also the fact that i took his rankings into consideration and he rejected my opinions out of hand. i ranked usc 3 because that was the concensus and they were undefeated but i knew they would lose sooner or later.

i think its the fact i was right all along and only imran agreed
