Nah, the Big East is impressive this year, but like I keep saying, the SEC is a BEAST this year.

I think it was the fact that DanS was so insistant that USC was #2 and they were only beating teams that were not amazing at all by small margins. and then an unranked Oregon State comes out and beats them by a small margin. This is a game they shouldn't have lost, did, and now deserve to be put down like the dog they are.

I think the previous games that they barely won was an indicator of this though.

Texas is impressive, out of the B-12. Adrian Peterson was my Heisman frontrunner. Other than that, I think it's the SEC and "everybody else."

i just calculated the averages for the pac 10, big 12, and sec.
the big 12 lost more games out of conference as a % of their losses than the pac 10 or Sec. the big 12 lost 63% of their games in conference vs. 71 for the pac 10 and 83% in the SEC

and the pac 10 won more out of conference games as a percentage than the SEC or big 12. but only by 1%

I don't know about that. Oklahoma and Missouri are Big 12, which isn't going to back down to SEC.
