I won't fault you for this, since you don't get near the same level of baseball coverage and you don't follow the game. Lidle was a journeyman player who'd been around the block, played for several teams, and always had some degree of clubhouse friction with someone or other, partly due to his playing as a scab for a short period during the MLB strike in the 90's. Nothing at all atypical - there weren't any real high expectations of him in NY, nothing like that put on A-choke or Randy Johnson, so being a minor player in the playoff choke wouldn't be a big deal - the Yankees have been doing that for years now, and the blame and frustration hits their bigger players.
