Come on, what does everyone have against having some brand new stock footage of a nuclear mushroom cloud? I mean, just how many times are we going to see the same house and the same jeeps blown up? Jesus, I must have seen that footage now hundreds of times.

    We need new footage!
Yes, new footage, in color, too. And better production values!

It's not the accuracy of the missile but the range.
it will need to be a little larger than 1 kt if they can't hit the broadside of a barn.

        • Well as long as NK has declared war on the U.N. why don't we take the opporunity to destroy their nuclear facilities?

              • What is wrong with having bilateral talks with these people.... All they want is to be recognized as being important enough to have bilateral talks with US.. It is a small concession to make if it brings a resolution to this issue..

I wonder if we can come up with 30 countries that might go nuclear:

                    1. Iran
                    2. Saudi Arabia
                    3. Egypt
                    4. S. Korea
                    5. Japan
                    6. Brazil (again?)
                    7. Argentina? (again?)
                    8. Syria?
                    9. ???
The article was a little fuzzy on how they are defining the 30 countries. I doubt there are 30 countries that would actually want to have nukes unless something catastrophic happened, but it's easy to come up with 30 countries that have the all the technical requirements to become nuclear powers in short order. It would take nothing for Canada to build nukes, for example. Ditto almost every western European country, and many in eastern Europe like Poland or Ukraine. I'm sure Australia could do it pretty quickly. Of course Japan and South Korea would be on the list, probably along with Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. South Africa already did it, Lybia was on its way. Brazil and Argentina and likely another country or two in South America. And so on...

I doubt it would. NK probably wouldn't honor any agreements. Or if they did, it would be only as long as it suited them.
