Ugh. I taped the game cause I had a civ game tonight. So I told all my housemates, and people in the game not to mention anything about the Tigers game so I could watch it fresh tomorrow.
So what happens? My mom calls. I figured she'd mention something about the game eventually, but she isn't a sports fan at all, so I figured I'd be polite, wait for her to say hello, and then tell her not to mention the game. So I say "hi" and she says, very cheerfully, "it is 6 to ...."
Argh!!!!
I cut her off, but too late...
I'll still watch the game anyways. But all the suspense is gone.
Regardless though..... GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, nice try. She tried to cover for it too. After I cut her off and explained my situation she was like, "ok I won't tell you about the game, but you better get out your kleenex" implying the game was bad to try and throw me off.
But I saw through her ploy.

The "better get out your kleenex" (or something similar) is always the worst thing to say after you've said part of a score... because then you know nothing bad has happened to the team you root for. If they said nothing further, then maybe you'd question.

Yea exactly. If the Tigers were losing 6 to something, she wouldn't have called me. And she certainly wouldn't have called me with such a cheerful tone in her voice, heh.
And this morning a friend from back home called me to brag about the game too. Neither he nor my mom are baseball fans really, so this is pretty sweet. Guy knows better than me I'm sure, but Michigan must really be buzzing over this. I love it.

Damn it, trying to watch this game on my slingbox is torture. My wireless internet is being very uncooperative and the signal keeps cutting out. It cut out for a while and when it picked the signal up again, the Tigers scored. Then it cut out again and when it picked up they scored a 2nd time! Then they were about to replay the 2nd run, but it cut out and I missed the replay! Arrgghh!!

Gah, I'm so ****ing frustrated now. I am missing half of this damn game. This problem is pissing me off. I guess it is a good thing I already know the outcome. If I was watching this live for the first time I'd be even more pissed. Damn I can't follow this at all.
At least tonight's game is on Fox, so I can watch it on my TV and not over the Internet which seems impossible today.
