                              I've got a surprising ability to identify the age of a photograph based solely on its technical details (resolution, contrast etc). I'm even better with movies (can usually get within 1 year of date).

                              I was able to narrow it down to a 15 year period from that (1925-1940 was the range I guessed at).

                              Added to that was the fact that the man's face looked slightly Germanic and that the setting looked European (not American) and you're down to a very few notable assassinations.
