Oh shucks, they changed the name before I had a chance to post. I was going to suggest that there might be a reaction from the Indian community if someone named a restaurant after a certain famous massacre of Indians by British troops in the 1930s. Was it Amritsar?

This isn't any less tastless to me than restuarants that have a colonialist/imperial theme to them. Hell, Napoleon even has a popular dessert named after him. Where are the Adolf Strudels?

Actually, Jallianwalla Bagh is in Amritsar.

There was no massacre of Sikhs by Indian troops - there was a counter-terrorism operation in Amritsar in the 80s,

Actually there are a lot of Cultural Revolution themed restaurants in China. They're kind of like a T.G.I. Friday's or Applebee's, but with a different sort of nostalgic decor. And the food is just as greasy.
