I certainly wouldnt want to see a restaurant named after the guys on the ground who did that. I dont think the central authorities in Berlin were all that informed on what was happening.

Nope. A deliberate attempt by the state to wipe out an entire tribe. I know of no other such attempt like that in Africa in that era.

We did learn about the Holocaust in detail , you know . Only thing is , everyone studies for the examination , and after they have left the subject behind , they forget all about it . That is why awareness is so little - nobody cares about history enough to remember it after they have passed their examinations .
