Whaaaaa? That's the best stat as far as goalie skill is concerned.

GAA is a bit bogus because a lot of that depends on the defense INFRONT of the goaltender instead of the goaltender himself.

Yes but, people picking 16th diluting the importance of goalies is somewhat suspect.

My vote would be no draft limitations, no changes to the starting lineups, we just run with it.

It really shouldn't be a problem for people to get enough goalies starts to be eligible; hell, take the starter and the back-up from a given team and you're guaranteed to be eligible.

So would I, but it seems we need to do something. Wins might have to be sacrificed, since it's the one stat you can theoretically inflate if you have two starters and your opponent only has one starter and one backup.

I see what you're saying nye. Unfortunately, the size does cause a problem, and I for one did not realize that we had gotten so large - I expected around the same number as last time. We could decide on special draft rules or stat changes, and then redo the draft order, but that would just upset everyone more.

There are several cases throughout the year that a team plays less than 3 games per week.

Maybe not. If someone has two starters, then likely one of the starters is on a ****ty team, and won't necessarily have more wins than a back-up on a good team.

That's why we added a skater stat to diminish the importance of goalies.
