Yeah, I don't blame Canada. They're a small country and I don't expect a small country to have a proper army. It's the Brits and Japs I blame mostly. And Italians.

It isn't all so sensible. He misunderstood "wuss" as a negative judgement of bravehood. I'm certain that the Benelux countries did all they could (within reasonable dimensions) to protect their souvereignity and in the end had no chance. This goes totally besides my point however. My point is that even among the big players, most couldn't put up a proper fight against Germany except the US and the USSR.

The comparison of 250km v. 600 km is nonsensical. Had Belgium been 800km deep it would have fallen all the same.

I think some of you underestimate the stopping power of water.
