Wow... seems like a very interesting story arc on fighting the occupation with some (like Starbuck it seems) becoming part of an armed resistance, while others just try to carry on (while, I presume not working as hard as they could and finding secret ways of hurting the Cylons on the production line). Adama has to try to find the right moment to rescue the rest of humanity even though he'd like to rush right in, though that'd get him destroyed.

I'm definatly excited!! I'm liking this change to the story made at the end of Season 2 even more now!

        SO SAY WE ALL!

Serves them right for electing Baltar as Pres.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

We elected Bush... who are we to say anything?

Many fans went ape **** after the radical shift at the end of last season and suggestion that BS had jumped the shark. At first I was a bit leary but understood that it was in danger of becomming stale the way it was going. I'm glad they did what they did and can't wait till the season starts. I just hope scifi keeps the course with the show
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

Yeah, but at least we have stuff like checks and balances...they have one rep from each colony. Oh yeah, that'll reel him in.

Incidently, I think the colonization of New Caprica was something that had to be done. If they didn't try soemthing radical it would have become "Voyager with Robots!"

I also like that we'll be seeing much more of Xena: Warrior Cylon .

Yeah, the twist keeps things fresh and interesting. Sure there was a chance to turn off some fans who claimed "jump the shark", but in reality the shark may actually have jumped far earlier if they stuck to their... let's run away to Earth thing.

Incidently, did I see a new kind of fighter in the preview? (I thought I did when I saw it on Sci-fi last night, but the youtube quality isn't that great).

I'm betting the Galactica and Pegasus jump back to the Colonies and pick up resistance fighters to man their equipment.

Well, I don't expect the resistence fighters in the colonies to have starfighters on hand. Obviously they'd just use the Galactica's andPegasus's complements.

Haven't seen this show. I suppose it'd be foolish to jump in now. DVDs available?

Yeah, as of early this year season 1 and the first half of season 2 were on DVD. I have been looking for the second half of season 2 but haven't seen it yet.
