Very likely. But I don't have insurance and there are other things that need paying for first.

Indeed you are. Does "Ack" have anything to do with fuzzy vision? Otherwise, our friend Jon Miller seems to have floated off into the aether, using "Ack" as the title. No wonder he can't see, he's lost in the mists.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "ack" just might possibly have an origin other than our dear friend Tuberski and his hairball ridden cat.

I thought his bday wasn't until later.

Astigmatism I think has something to do with how the eye focuses, one eye being stronger then the other.

Astigmatism is when your eye becomes less round. If you don't have it, you could take the lens from your glasses (or "polycarbonates", which is what they're made of these days) and rotate it about the y-axis (at the moment I can't think of how to describe that better) and not affect your vision.

If you have it, then your corrective lenses need to maintain the same orientation.

I have a strong enough astigmatism that I was told glasses would give me better vision than contacts. Haven't gotten around to laser surgery, there's still the possibilty I might need glasses (though at a much weaker prescription. Maybe if I win the lottery....

Was I correct? I have a bit of an astigmatism myself and was just going on my nearest recollection of how the doc explained it.

That's not astigmatism, but I also hav ethat.

Pretty slight, as I have said, I have been fine generally, just have noticed fuzziness where there wasn't any previously.
