As you can see from the date I joined I was a fresh faced kid of 17 when I joined, but in a little over 2 weeks I'll be 54.

When did this place start? I first came here for Civ 2 stuff, but didn't linger long. I came back for SMAC in 2000, but couldn't remember my user name and created the Sikander user name. Anyhoo, I was middle-aged then and I'm still middle-aged. Same girlfriend, same house, same job. The only thing that seems to have changed is that my cat, my mother and both of my grandmother's (in that order) have died.

I was 20 when I joined Apolyton in March '99
If The Ultimate Civilization site counts it was earlier, but I even forgot my nickname overthere. I just rejoined right after the merge

I never got a 1970 join date for that while I'm clearly one of the vets

Now I'm 28, married and almost a father.........
I know Apolyton longer then my wife

I too had a hand in keeping the Nasty Kommunists from invading USA-(Europe) in the latter part of the 1970's

Saw all sorts of the Big Red Communists spying on us..or at least that was what we told to believe

I joined when I was 13 , July of 2001 . Exactly five years later , I'm 18 . I've gone through a lot of stuff in the interim . Never realised I was here that long . Time sure passes quickly .
