I joined Apolyton in 1999 -- at that time, I was 21 years old and an undergraduate student going for a BA in History and living with my lover whom I got to truly know only after his death.
Now, I'm 28 years old, and plan to graduate with my MA (complete with a thesis) by this December and gain more teaching experience in the meantime as a lowly adjunct.
This also means that my next birthday (next month) will be the beginning of the end of my 20's!!A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.Comment

I lurked at Apolyton around the time of civ 2 but I didn't register until I wanted to post about CTP2 and I stayed for Civ3. After i learned that Civ3 sucked I moved to the OT.
I did play a, illegally hacked, copy of Civ 1 though I did buy a copy of CTP1. Never bought test of time or the other civ expanisions until the civ3 expansions which I hoped would tranform civ3 from a dog into a decent game.
