  • Hungarians are Magyars. I read somewhere that Magyars came from Scandinavia ages ago.

Where's BeBro and Sir Ralph, all the other euros? I'm bored, 'night.

Maybe because this would be more equivalent of a Scandinavian-German-Dutch-English nation or a Portuguese-Spanish-French, Italian, Romanian Union?

No. Magyars are/were Turkic peoples from Central Asia, along with the Finns and Estonians, as were the Bulgars. The Bulgars (in Bulgaria, not the ones in Siberia) Slavicized though.

Well, there was an attempt to unify the Southern Slavs. It didn't go too well.

At this time I use to be at work, like every punctual and industrious German. You don't look at Ecthy, he's an Ossi (Eastie), which means he's probably unemployed, sleeps all day, doesn't shave and makes dolce vita from my hard earned tax euros.

EDIT: Oh I forgot, he uses the wrong word for Krapfen too.

They are not Turkic. They are one of Ugro-Finnic peoples, like Finns, Karelians, Estonians, Livonians etc.
Both Ugro-Finnic and Turkic peoples are classified as "Altaic", though

              • The map someone posted is very, very bad, especially when it comes to Poles.

They didn't leave voluntarially. They left because Stalin ordered it and because people with guns told them they'd be killed if they didn't. The Poles and Czechs were there to loot everything they left behind; which was virtually everything since the Germans were told they could only have what they could carry.

Let's face a few facts here. The Czechs, Poles, and Russians had good reasons to want revenge but what they did was entirely evil. Ethnic cleansing is never ok and more people should know about this deplorable act.

I knew there was Finnish in Hungarians, thanks Heresson.

Yes, this burns your collective West German asses. Those commies taught the Easties how to work. Actually, just 'hanging out' is quite a skill if it is to be properly done. Having gone to the Phils to 'hang out' for extended periods of time I can tell you it may take the rest of my life to perfect my abilities.

One thing that concerns me about a bunch of Germans sitting around doing not much is that you know the buggers are thinking...thinking...thinking of past glories and in the quiet moments of the night...an occasional, tentative goose step?

The funny thing is, that I am East German as well. I would have liked to stay in beautiful Dresden, but I had to follow the call of money and employment. I just didn't have the heart to support my family from unemployment benefit.

Nothing wrong with goose stepping. Nobody was ever hurt by it alone, except perhaps the one marching in front of the goose-stepper.

Even when you start with nitpicking and ignoring all Germans who left before May 45 (see also Oerdin)...I think the bolded parts of your quote are simply wrong. Would like to see a source. (pls non-Stalinistic and non-Kaczynskistic-source)
