Amazing Game today- 15 more seconds and it would have been a draw.

Mediocre game, but good results.
The French team didn't show the spirit it used to show against the Spanish or the Brazilians (as expected: we suck when we think we're due to win), but it still worked.
I hope we'll see a much more aggressive and imaginative game against Italy. I think it'll happen: the Italians have shown that they have a great skill with the ball, and it's definitely not an obvious win for France (just like Spain and Brazil were difficult matches).

Not so much in this WC but Thuram was probably the best attacking defender I've ever seen. Was it Parma where he had is heyday? I remember he was linked with ManU in the late 90's, I was made up when he didn't sign for them?Comment
