I tried to support the good cause, but much as I'd like to piss in Fake Ronaldo's strawberries, I'm not giving my details to that website to sell just so I can vote.

Hmmm - Yahoo already have my details. Damn me for being young and naive when I set up my first e-mail account.

          France 1-0!

Though from the radio, it sounded like Henry dove (or 'sold' the foul, which ever). How accurate is that description?

Eh, he definitely fell, though the guy was probably going for the ball. I don't think that would be called EVERY time, but it's not an unreasonable call IMO.

I'm curious, why does soccer/football let Zidan take the PK (and not Henry)?

I believe there is flexibility in free kicks and penalties because what if it was a hard foul and the fouled player got injured as a result?

                    marginal call imho

I actually thought Henry was falling from his lunge for the ball and his contact with the Portuguese defender (already on the ground by this point) was a borderline foul at best ( and one I don't think is usually called when the ball has already escaped the offensive player-- as a practical matter)

IMO it was definitely a penalty. The Portuguese player hit Henry's ankle, bringing him out of balance.

OTOH, that little Portuguese ****er dived again. for the referee for not falling for it, for the referee for not giving a yellow card to the ****er.

There is no rule regarding who has to take the penalty.

How many times does Ronaldo have to dive in the penalty area before he gets booked?

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
