They were fortunate to score with what was practically their only attempt all game, fortunate that France had a perfectly good goal taken away from them, and fortunate that Henry missed one he should have buried at the end.

Credit to the Koreans for hanging in there and nicking a draw when they should have been dead at 2-0, but while France may have deserved to drop points for not killing the game off, the team that hardly touched the ball didn't deserve a victory.

I was fortunate, in that I didn't have to watch the entire game, but only the last 15 minutes. They were agonizing enough.

If SK and Switzerland is a draw, France can still go forward if they beat Togo by 2 (in such case, Fra, SK, and Switz will have 5 points each and goal differential will decide it).

I believe goal differential is the first tie breaker and total goals scored is second. So no matter what the score of the tie is, it won't matter if France wins by 2. Then France will be +2 while South Korea will be +1 (since they beat Togo by 1). Switzerland will finish first on the tiebreaker with France on total goals.

Now, of course if France wins by less than 2 (or draws or loses) a tie would send both SK and Switzerland forward.
