That's all that matters. They have no responsibility to guarantee that you're able to vote in a provincial election somewhere.

If you spent it in Quebec, then congratulations! You're able to vote in Quebec. If you spent it on the moon then you're straight ****ing out of luck.

No. My post was directed at foreigners, and incidentally, to all people who say that Quebec has to change. You then assumed that I took you for one and felt the need to assert your roots. Which is fine, but wasn't the part of the post that was directed at you.

Residency is not very well enforced. It's difficult to prove, and nobody cares as long as the violations aren't too flagrant.
