Yes, but that is a special case. Rather as if there was an epidemic of car theft, but 80% of the cars broke down within a mile of the theft.

It's hardly the same as real stealing.
    Only feebs vote.

Intellectual property? What a nonsense term.

I have always wondered how these people come up with these "estimations" of "thefts."

Do they call up companies and ask, "Are you using illegal copies of programs?" ::shrug::

No. They know roughly how many PCs in the PRC are running Windows. They know how many are paid for. The difference is a massive level of theft.

Interersting that you bring up automobiles.

A large number of cars stolen in the 'first world' end up in the third world, and they are somehow legal there.

"Free Trade" is a right-wing euphimism for "A race to the bottom in wages and regulations."

I swear, the Neo-Liberals worship the Market as if it was a god.

The faster wages go down, the faster prices go down.

There is more to the market than one liners, and specific economic policy takes a bit of analysis as there is no one size fit all solution when considering the diverse level of development we are looking at here.

Easy to say from a country that has none.

Perhaps, since the US is forced to follow all WTO regulations no matter how absurd, China could start doing the same thing. Or are they too busy not enforcing their millions of "meanful" labor laws?

Enjoy it. It's the height of UR's reasoning ability. When you spout out other people's wrong ideas without fully understanding them yourself, you can't defend them when challenged. So best to just state them and run, while pretending to be an intellectual. If you happen to anger anyone or make a fool of yourself, you can just spend some posts later kissing ass to convince yourself that you're popular as well. Classic.

                        That's a non-sequitur.

I have repeatedly pointed out that why the term "intellectual property" is nonsense in the past. I am not going to keep doing it.

I've heard your arguments. I just think that it's inane to argue against a term accepted by everyone who matters.

well the US treasury recently froze the assets of 4 chinese companies and a front company in America for assisting Iran in Missile tech, including state owned companies that have been sanctioned before on this very matter.

Well that's certainly alot of progress. However, I was curious what Kuci might consider progress.
