No, it should have been 2-2, because Cahill should have been sent off (and not just for being a dirty Blue, but for being a thug to boot), and hopefully Japan would have scored the penalty.

Finally the day has come when my mighty Team USA Men's National Franchise start their campaign against the Cech Republic.
This is the first time I have really followed the Soccerball World Series, as I was on vacation when it was on last year and I was too young the year before, so I'm very excited to finally see us in action.
We have some top-quality kickers on our roster, led by Manchester's Claudio Reyna and with players from top soccer franchises such as the New England Revolution, Real Salt Lake, Atletico Baltimore and the Detroit Spinners.
However, we are a long way from home and we always play much better at home in the Bruce Arena than on road trips. And the Cech Republic has the best backstop in the world, Peter Czech of the London Chelseas.

(For anyone else who read it, the last paragraph wasn't worth my typing out because it wasn't funny enough)

You're right that Coupet should be in for Barthez, but Vieira has to be replaced by Malouda, with Ribéry playing on the right, and then Trezeguet in for Wiltord too. (4-1-2-1-2)
