Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Imran, your quotes don't amount to much, do they? Just more random facts that suggest nothing more than guilt by association. Cheney was CEO of Halliburton. Therefor, all its misdeeds whether before or after Cheney became VP, are the responsibility of this VP.
Nonsense.
Given the famous "loyalty" -- translation: overt cronyism -- of the Bush White House, do you really think that's because they conducted a far-reaching, objective inquiry and decided that only Halliburton could possibly deal with Iraq? And, further, that Halliburton was so important to the effort that questioning their contracts was cause for disciplinary action?
This isn't guilt by association. This is standard operating procedure for a White House whose use of the spoils system would make Andy Jackson blush and whose paranoid response to disagreement would make Dick Nixon proud."I have as much authority as the pope. Rufus, the H deal in Iraq may seem sinister until one understands that H was the only US company that could carry out the contract. The other companies were non US. From 1992 to 1997, KBR held the first LOGCAP contract awarded by the Army, but when it was time to renew the contract, the company lost in the competitive bidding process to DynCorp after the General Accounting Office reported in February 1997 that KBR had overrun its estimated costs in the Balkans by 32 percent (some of which was attributed to an increase in the Army's demands). KBR beat out DynCorp and defense giant Raytheon for the third LOGCAP contract in December 2001, this one to run 10 years.
Under the LOGCAP contract, in November 2002 the Army Corps of Engineers tasked KBR to develop a contingency plan for extinguishing oil well fires in Iraq. Not surprisingly, on March 24, 2003, the Army Corps announced publicly that KBR had been awarded a contract to restore oil-infrastructure in Iraq, potentially worth $7 billion.

Just a reminder: Lewinsky was NOT sexually harassed. She bragged to her Beverly Hills friend before ever leaving for Washington D.C. that she was going to seduce the President. She therefore classifies as a slut.
Paula Jones is not a slut. She, unlike Lewinsky, claims to have been sexually harassed (i.e. she claims Clinton dropped his pants in front of her). Of course, Jones waited until every statute of limitations she had on her claims expired, except the one for civil rights violations. So, she brought a frivolous suit based upon that. She was supported during this suit but right-wing financiers. When her lawsuit got thrown out when Clinton showed that she had no claim for damages recognized in a civil rights suit (i.e. loss of job, loss of wages, she filed a frivolous appeal.
During the course of this frivolous lawsuit Clinton was exposed to the American public and his wife as a philanderer, and was also later impeached but acquited of alleged criminal charges. Is it any wonder that the President agree to Jones's extortionistic demand of $850000 to settle the frivious suit??
(BTW IMHO, if Clinton had not been distracted by the right-wing financed frivolous lawsuit of Jones, he would have been able to pay more attention to his duties as President and may even have been able to nab Usama bin Ladin.)

Yep... that was my point with the quotes. It's not 'guilt by association' at all, but a series of favors given to Halliburton, which is especially gaulling considering Halliburton's record in dealing with Iran, which was/is considered an enemy of the US.

That's G. Flowers. Her name was spelled Gennifer.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Historically speaking, Nixon was not a bad president. He just lived in the wrong time, which meant he got caught.
For a brief period in the late 1960s journalists actually did what they are supposed to do, and the media actually had some spine. Now that this has been removed, normal service has resumed.
Someone said the other day that their daughter complained that journalists no longer act like Woodward and Bernstein. No kidding...Only feebs vote.

Seriously, if and when she runs expect this can of worms to be opened. Hillary defender and icon of womens rights decided it was her perogative to initiate a smear campaign against the likes of Juanita Broderick. The ole call the victim a slut and opportunist. Heck she should be defense attorney for Kobe Bryant."Just puttin on the foil" - Jeff Hanson

Bull. Sure, the Bushies said that Halliburton was the only company that could do the job. They also said Saddam had WMD and that we'd we welcomed as liberators. Look at the record of actions, not the record of statements.
So DynCorp and Raytheon both had competed for the LOGCAP contract successfully in the past; in fact, they'd successfully beaten out KBR, Halliburton's parent company, under the Clinton administration because the GAO had shown what bad managers they were. But the minute the Bushies come to power, DynCorp is out and sloppy, underperforming Halliburton is back in. And even though the ACE was looking at developing plans for Iraq months before the invasion, they never opened the search to competition.
