Does this explain Ned's hyper-emotional forum diatribes against any and everybody who stands to the left of himself? Could it be that he trolls internet forums looking for a proxy to stand in for his wife so he can bash her leftist opinions without endangering the peace at home?

So what is this magic hold that Bill seems to have on so many Americans that they will engage in some of the worst human behavior there is, defaming victims of sexual assault and abuse, to defend this man?

, but The Thin Red Line is a wonderful movie which was unfortunetly released the same year Saving Private Ryan was, which colored expectations of it... it wasn't perfect (hardly any movie is), but was a damned good flick asking the philosophical questions of war while the ugliness of war was going of underneath, comparing man's destruction to nature. Good stuff

I can't believe how anyone can manage to keep a straight face in one of those over-the-top melodramatic dying scenes. If you want to see a war-movie that's intellectually engaging then go watch Paths Of Glory by Kubrick for instance.
