    I still think it wasn't a really good song, even though they have entertainment value. Then again, it's about entertainment more than the actual song.

    What makes me happy is not so much that Lordi is from here but the fact that Eurovision wasn't won by some half naked chick shaking her ass to some horrible 'music' and trying to 'sing'. You know.. it would be cool if the best songs could come there and we could all vote for best songs with little bias with our music hearts but .. it never really comes to that. I think it didn't come to that this year either, but at least the entertainment value wasn't boobs.

                Another successful eurovision party with my local gays. Cheap beer, loud commentary on the dresses and me nearly crying during the Greek entry because I was sitting next to my ex-who-I-am-still-in-love-with.

                    I'm mildly pissed off with my friend that invited both of us and only realised how awkward it could be when we were both in the same room.

                    But I'm too English to just leave, so I put on the stiff upper lip and ignored him. And he's too Swedish for his own good, so basically did the same thing.

                    Or possibly didn't even understand I was upset. He's been great at not understanding why I'm heartbroken.

                          And not entirely sure what was up with "look at us we're london innit" accents of the UK entry. Gods, if we were going to send in a white rap chav act, we should have actually sent in Mike Skinner and maybe actually won the contest.
