Zkrib, Luzon gets hammered all the time. Last year when Florida got hit by 3 hurricanes, Leyte got hit by 4. The suffering was terrible, particularly for a 3rd world country with a fraction of our wealth. Leyte had a terrible landslide last winter... Seems the Phils suffers disasters constantly. Yet...they celebrate life with such ease, as you well know.

Yet, my life is great, and I'm really happy. According to your theory MRT, I shouldn't be. I'm so...unusual...and I feel that I miss comiserating with miserable people. Being happy is a terrible burden.

A truly great blues band...kinda rocky, playing at the casino the last couple of days. All original music. In an age where truly >music< was appreciated they would have been great by now. They are set up right where I work. Hope the casino brings em back. I've had to listen to some real stinkers in the past. Nothing like wearing a blouse, driving a powder blue van and when not driving having to listen to an ego band while politely smiling to drive one completely nuts.

I just checked this thread for the first time now...I saw the title and assumed it was some inane Final Fantasy Fanboy thread that hadn't been moved to the OG forum for some reason ("mistranslation of a character class vs. the world's ugliest summon: who would win?").

Anyway, it's good to hear everyone's okay, now that I know there was a disaster.
