Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
I understand the UN's latest poverty reduction attempt is to promote the consumption of Camel's milk in the west. I guess drinking camel milk is huge in the middle east but no one else wants to drink it because it is salty and has a very strong flavor. The UN is trying to help out Berbers and other desert nomads by trying to find a way to get them extra cash.
I'd try camel's milk and camel cheese (as well as roast camel) but just don't see to many people picking this up. Certainly not a whole market developing for this.

Not really freaks just products of evolutionary biology. If you live in an area with lots of cows & goats but the your crop fails then what do you do? You can't just kill and eat them all so you try to find another way to get calories out of them and dairy is the way to do it. Those who could eat dairy survived and those who couldn't died.
It wasn't just Europe which had such conditions as many Bantu groups (the largest native African language group) herded cattle but didn't farm thus they also had evolutionary pressure to favor the dairy eaters over the nondairy eaters.
But I like calling humans freaks of nature.

"Capitalism ho!"
I prefer chocolate milk... rice milk and soy milk are both good plain (I think I prefer rice milk for cereals). I dislike the taste of milke plain (unless it is very fresh).
Currently I am vegan though (I haven't eaten dairy for almost 7 days now).

It's funny, I had no problem digesting milk until I was 25 years old.
FYI my ancestery is mostly German, with some English, French, and Native American thrown in.
and it was only until I was in Mississippi and it started getting hot did I start having problems with milk. Obviously I blame Mississippi. . I can't drink milk or eat large amounts of icecream. But I can still eat cheese and yogurt.
Lactose intolerance is normal for some and not normal for others. There is no one baseline against which to measure normality for all humanity.
I seem to recall using this exact argument in a discussion about people born with blindness, and I don't believe you where buying it then. Glad to see that you've matured.
