How do you know if you're lactose intolerant?

When I was a kid I was allergic to milk, now I'm "lactose intolerant".

It's a major reason why I don't drink orange juice.

It's more likely the Finnish lactose intolerence comes from their Asian ancestors, being Ugrians rather than Indo-Europeans.

If you fart when you drink milk, you could be lactose intolerant.

I love cold fat-free milk. Mmmmm, but milk on the Atkin's diet is frowned upon, because of the sugar. The carb-free milk tastes like ass.

Yep. Swedish overlords have done much to improve the race over the course of centuries, but they couldn't fix everything

Approximately 70% of the global population cannot tolerate lactose in adulthood. Thus, some argue that the terminology should be reversed, lactose intolerance should be seen as the norm, and the minority Western European group should be labelled as having lactase persistence.

What PC garbage. That's on the order of "womyn".

No, it's calling things as they are. Lactose intolerance is normal and only mutants can digest milk in adulthood. Accept it and learn to live with it, it's what is best.

Well, let the lactose-intolerant cultures change their languages. English isn't a global culutre yet.

Lactose intolerance is normal for some and not normal for others. There is no one baseline against which to measure normality for all humanity.

Thanks to my Irish ancestors, I'm definitely "lactase persistent".

It's a good thing too since I drink at least a quart of milk per day, in the form of lattes and tea with milk.
